Nursery Nurse in Eaglescliffe

To support in maintaining a safe and secure nursery environment including following all safeguarding procedures.

Support the children\’s learning and development by participating in various activities, providing opportunities to extend interests and by encouraging and supporting access to activities and resources.

To ensure the wellbeing of the children and follow the Child Protection and Safeguarding procedures where you have any concerns.

To work as part of a team, attend all training sessions and keep on top of your own professional development.

To take on a Key Person role, planning and providing exciting activities to support children\’s development and learning, recording information. Monitoring children\’s development.

To report any concerns to senior staff.

Care for children\’s personal hygiene needs.

To support children during meal and snack time, encourage children to make healthy choices.

To be fully aware of all Policies and Procedures and act upon these.

To be observant and engaging at all times.

To be a team member.

To be flexible in your worth ethic.

To attend staff supervision meetings and take part in Peer observations.

To be fully compliant with our Health and Safety Guidelines.

To have fun and enjoy your job role.
