Front End Developer required for 12 to 18 month contract working on a development of an edge processing solution aimed at transforming data for fiber optic sensors to actionable insights through algorithms. This contract is outside IR35 and would suit a skilled and experienced Front End Developer with experience of web development and enhancements of web solutions.

The role requires the following technical skills and experience:

  • Experience of modern web technologies; Typescript, Angular, NodeJS (other programming languages are beneficial).
  • Knowledge and understanding of service architectures; REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSocket, databases, containers, cloud services (AWS, Azure).
  • A good understanding of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design and affordability.
  • Understanding and expertise in modern software development; version control (Git), bug tracking, test frameworks, documentation and design, dev-ops/containers etc.

The client is based just north of London. Candidates can work remotely, but ideally should be in or around Central or North London and able to get to Elstree for meetings as required. This is a great long term contract opportunity for a Front End Developer to work on a cutting edge platform. You should have very technical communication skills, and be able to contribute to system architecture, code optimization, troubleshooting issues and working in a small development team.
