Glenelly Infrastructure Solutions are looking for a Finance Administrator in our Hemel Hempstead offices. This Finance Administrator position is a permanent, full-time role and will join an existing team to ensure admin, accounts, purchase order, accounts payable and payroll are processed efficiently. You should have experience in a similar role - ideally in the engineering, utilities (gas, electric, water), construction or housing sector.

Your previous roles may have been Finance Assistant, Administration Assistant, Account Co-ordinator; we need someone with a range of experience and skills who can adapt to business needs to deliver on time and correctly. The hours are 8-4pm Monday to Friday, working from our office in Hemel Hempstead.

The tasks and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and documents
  • Process invoices and manage accounts payable
  • Conduct data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions

Your skills and knowledge should cover as much of the following as possible:

  • Proficient in data entry and experience with accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of financial services and basic accounting principles is a plus
