We are currently looking for dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who share our core values and have the skills to support those in need. These roles will all be based in Bootle, Liverpool.

We currently have the following shift pattern availability:

  • Female days with sleep in support worker - Full time
  • Female days only support workers - Full time

For this service, experience of autism, mental health disorders and behaviours that can challenge are essential, and we are dedicated to providing the training and guidance needed to help you thrive in your career with us. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential, while skills such as initiative, patience, understanding, and a passion for helping others will set you up for success.

Drivers are required for our current open vacancies - the mobility vehicles you would be required to drive at this service would be manual - requiring a full UK manual licence (you do not need your own vehicle). Some services that do require drivers must have a full UK/EU driving licence due to the Mobility Car Insurance policy; this does not include provisional or international licences. Some services require female candidates only as this is indicated under occupational requirement in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.

Responsibilities

Daily responsibilities may include supporting individuals to develop independent living skills at home, such as cleaning, cooking, personal care, laundry, budgeting, and meal planning. You'll also assist with managing appointments related to health and housing needs, as well as administering medication when required. Additionally, you'll encourage and support individuals to engage with the community and participate in activities they enjoy, promoting their independence and well-being.
