As one of our People Advisors, youâll be an essential part of our People Operations team, supporting and guiding our business through all thingâs employee relations. Here\âs a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:
- Youâll be supporting our management teams in all thingâs employee relations, developing their expertise in managing disciplinary, grievance, fair treatment, absence and capability and performance related issues
- Using your sound judgement and pragmatism, youâll provide balanced advice that manages risk but drives end results, which are both fair and in line with Gleneaglesâ values as well as commercially appropriate
- Utilising your well-honed advisory skills and techniques to support managers to address and resolve multiple types of employee relations challenges and drive compliance with our policies and procedures
- Earning the trust of others by forming strong relationships with stakeholders allowing you to become a trusted advisor in supporting and advising managers on employee relations cases, insisting on the highest standards in case management and all matters related to employee wellbeing
- Working in partnership with our Occupational Health Advisor youâll ensure appropriate support to our managers and employees in capability and absence cases
- Ensuring any high risk or high-profile cases are escalated to the Head of People Operations, with appropriate responses and swift resolution
- Tracking and monitoring absence and case data, youâll use that insight to establish trends and prioritise where support or specific interventions are required
- Maintaining the relevant trackers, youâll produce reports to aid the management of employee relations activity
- The custodian of our Knowledge Library, youâll make sure the advice and guidance we communicate to our people is always up-to-date and relevant
- Youâll be bringing fresh insight and experience to a series of people related projects that sit both within People Operations, but also require collaboration with the wider People Team
- Youâll be delivering Culture Clinics, presenting on key ER related topics and helping to educate our managers to be more confidence and effective in their management practice
- Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way
The kind of person we\âre looking for:
- You have strong People generalist experience, ideally within a high volume, fast paced and people focused environment, and a strong foundation in all aspects of employee case management
- Underpinning this experience with a CIPD qualification, you also have a track record of continuous professional development
- You understand whole heartedly the importance of delivering a consistent and values aligned employee experience across every aspect of employee relations, ensuring that we treat our people with the dignity, respect, warmth, and thoughtfulness that weâd expect ourselves.
- Resilient in your experience and approach, you recognise the importance of discretion and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive matters
- Youâre invested in your own personal development ensuring you have the most up to date and relevant expert knowledge and skills in your field
