We are currently seeking a creative, discerning and charismatic Bar Manager to join our Food and Beverage team.
The on target earning potential for this role is ÂŁ46,300 / per annum based on a 39 hour contract â comprising a base salary of ÂŁ38,000, plus a qualified estimate of ÂŁ8,300 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards.

- Youâll take full ownership of the Century Barâs operationâensuring consistency, excellence, and success in every detail, from the smooth pour of a fine Scottish malt to the delivery of an indulgent lunch dish
- Upholding the highest standards of product quality while aligning with departmental budgets and targets, with a sharp focus on cost control and operational efficiency
- Managing your team and the daily running of the bar, youâll drive a culture of continuous improvement â setting ambitious, clear objectives focused on elevating our service flow, product consistency, and overall team performance
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the estate to deliver exceptional membersâ events and quarterly functions, ensuring flawless execution and an incredible guest experience at all times
- Understanding that consistency is essential in a large venue like The Century Bar, youâll embed this mindset into every part of the operation, upholding exacting standards and attention to detail that are non-negotiable
- Youâll lead the ongoing training and development of your team, ensuring their knowledge of wine, spirits, and service techniques is thorough, current, and effectively applied on the floor.
- Take ownership of stock control and back-office systems, with full responsibility for accurate weekly reporting of stock take results and proactive management of variances
- Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way

- Leading from the front, fully immersed in the day-to-day operation, you set the tone and pace for your team, ensuring service is always smooth, efficient, and guest-focused
- Commercially astute, you manage costs without compromising our guest experience, balancing financial responsibility with an unwavering commitment to guest satisfaction. You have a solid grasp of budget targets, stock control, and margin protection
- You recognise the importance of maintaining and improving service flow, and youâre constantly identifying ways to enhance operational efficiency and team productivity
- A hands-on and natural leader, youâre passionate about motivating, guiding, and developing your team, holding them accountable while offering support and encouragement
