We are currently seeking a highly skilled, experienced and supremely organised Sous Chef, Pastry to join our Culinary team. The on target earning potential for this role is £47,608 per annum based on a 39 hour contract - comprising a base salary of £42,608, plus a qualified estimate of £5,000 in gratuities and service charge.

- A key, senior member of the Pastry team, you will be supporting our all-day dining business, offering breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and other dining experiences.
- Using your skill and experience, you will be crucial in ensuring our Pastry kitchen continues to excel in producing the most creative and innovative products.
- Operating as an amazing team player, both hands-on in the Pastry kitchen, and supporting the Executive Pastry Chef in line managing the team and supporting the entire brigade.
- Maintaining a can-do and problem-solving attitude, you will be passionate about the highest possible standards and will have a great eye for detail.
- Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way.

- Classically trained with an interest and knowledge of modern techniques, you’ve spent a minimum of 6 years perfecting your craft; Michelin starred and luxury hotels should also feature as part of your experience.
- Enthusiastic, confident and warm; you like working in an environment where things move and flex, where a can-do attitude is key.
- Using your expertise and skill, you will be crucial in ensuring our Pastry kitchen continues to excel, producing creative, innovative and inspirational items, to the highest standard at all times.
- Charismatic, creative and experienced to Sous Chef level, you’re hugely motivated to become a key member of our Pastry team.
- You have a great working knowledge and competence of the key software packages.
- Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand.
- You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner.
- A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail.
