ABOUT THE VENUE

Waxy O'Connor's & Waxy's Little Sister in London’s West End is London’s biggest and best Irish bar, known for selling more Guinness than any other in the UK. The team serves a warm welcome with a distinct Irish accent, creating a laid-back vibe, especially during big games in Rugby, Hurling, and Gaelic Football or traditional music sessions. We are enthusiastic about sharing our love of all things Irish and building on our reputation for warm hospitality and traditional, wholesome food.

ABOUT THE ROLE

At Waxy's, everyone plays an important role in the business, particularly the stock person. Responsibilities include:

  • Checking and taking in deliveries
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Reconciling deliveries against purchase orders
  • Stocking the bar fridges
  • Maintaining hygiene levels in the cellar
  • Keeping the back of house area organised, clean, and tidy

This is a physical role involving lots of lifting, moving, and organising items. Early starts at 6 am are required, but this also means early finishes, with no evening or night shifts. Wednesdays are a non-negotiable day of work due to beer deliveries.

Working hours: 30 hours per week with additional hours available based on business needs.

WE ARE PROUD TO OFFER:

  • Some of the best Career Growth Opportunities in the industry.
  • Flexible Shift Patterns to fit around other important things in life.
  • A Competitive and Progressive salary.
