About the Company
We are a small family run group of businesses manufacturing, delivery and/or installing furniture for the home, usually within a 50-mile radius of Carlisle.
Role Overview
We have a vacancy to perform deliveries and provide general support in other areas of the business, such as workshop help and remote teams installations. As most of our products are timber made furniture, some joinery experience would be helpful, although not essential, as training will be given where necessary to help you perform to the highest standards.
Deliveries
Deliveries usually consist of our products delivered directly to our client's homes.
Working Hours
The normal working hours are 8.00 to 16.30 Monday - Friday, but this can vary dependant on the schedule and locality on the actual day of work.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for the safe loading of your vehicle and getting yourself to and from each delivery point in a timely manner.
- We will provide a long wheelbase van which can be driven on a standard license.
- You will be responsible for the daily maintenance and safety checks.
Requirements
Our vehicle insurers require a full standard license held for more than 5 years, with no disqualifications within the last 5 years.
