Grounds Maintenance Supervisor Derby

Full Time 40 Hours Per Week

Up To £28188 Per Annum

  • The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record of leading staff or small teams.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to work in a demanding environment.
  • Enthusiasm, strong leadership, and great communication skills.
  • The ideal candidate will be flexible in style and thinking with an open, friendly personality.
  • They will understand and subscribe to the importance of working as a team.
  • Good IT skills are essential as well as a driving licence.
  • Previous experience in estimating work and delivering innovative customer solutions would be an advantage.

A Glimpse into the Role awaiting You

  • Assisting the Contract Manager in the effective management of the programmed maintenance.
  • Oversee the programme of works and delivery through the Glendale Live field management system.
  • Motivate and support delivery teams across a wide geographical area.
  • Monitoring staff timekeeping, holidays and sickness.
  • Proactively leading by example, especially in QHSE requirements.
  • Maintenance and enforcement of security of vehicle, plant and equipment.
  • Enforcement of the quality and customer care ethics through the workforce and maintain workforce discipline
  • To complete and manage necessary daily checks sheets and systems involved with the smooth running of operations.
  • You will be provided with a company vehicle for visiting all our contracts across the region.
