Grounds Maintenance Operative – Walsall
Location: Walsall – WS3 2DL
Employment type: Full time, fixed term until 31st October
Hours: 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Undertake grounds maintenance work, including mowing large grassed areas, strimming, blowing, line marking and renovation.
- Perform hedge trimming and general maintenance of shrub beds.
- Execute sports marking, hedge cutting and hard surface spraying operations.
Qualifications
- Full, clean driving licence; experience driving light commercial vehicles and towing trailers is desirable.
- Reliable, conscientious, with a can‑do attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work independently.
- Preferable PA1 or PA6 spraying licence.
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance work, horticultural tasks and use of handheld machinery desirable; full training will be provided.
