Full Time - Annualised Hours (7.30am-3pm in winter and 6.30am-4pm in summer)

£13.50 p/h - Salary dependent on skills and experience

At Glendale, we have a great new opportunity for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team at Kettering working on a variety of sites across the region. Undertaking grounds maintenance work including:

  • Mowing large grassed areas
  • Strimming
  • Blowing
  • Line marking and renovation
  • Hedge trimming
  • General maintenance to shrub beds
  • Sports markings
  • Hedge cutting
  • Hard surface spraying operations

Applicants must hold a full, clean driving licence and experience of driving light commercial vehicles and towing trailers is desirable. Applicants must be reliable and conscientious, have a can-do attitude and willingness to learn with the ability to work on their own initiative. Previous experience of grounds maintenance work, horticultural tasks and use of handheld machinery is desirable but full training will be given.
