Are you a fully qualified accountant looking for a pivotal role within an industry-leading environmental services business? Glendale Countryside Ltd is seeking a proactive and skilled Financial Accountant to join our dynamic finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end preparation and finalisation of annual statutory accounts (UK GAAP / FRS 102).
- Manage Corporation Tax computations and statutory compliance alongside external advisors.
- Assist in the implementation, optimisation, and migration of financial software systems.
- Partner with the Finance Director on strategic financial modelling and high-level cash forecasting.
- Deliver line-item job costing, WIP, and contract margin reporting across multi-site operations.
- Assist in the review and implementation of all financial policies
Requirements:
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Proven experience in statutory accounts production, tax compliance, and financial ERP implementations.
- Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and excellent stakeholder communication.
