The Role – What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll take ownership of multiple contracts from start to finish, ensuring delivery on time, on budget and to an exceptional standard. No two days are the same, but the role typically includes:
- Contract & Project Management
- Coordinating projects from pre‑contract stage through to completion and handover
- Attending and leading pre‑contract and site meetings
- Preparing contract programmes, health & safety files and project documentation
- Liaising closely with clients, designers, consultants and internal teams
- Managing labour, approved subcontractors and site resources
- Procuring materials, joinery and specialist items
- Placing purchase orders and managing deliveries to site
- Monitoring budgets in conjunction with commercial teams
- Managing snagging and ensuring clients are delighted at handover
- Client & Stakeholder Management
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and project stakeholders
- Building strong, long‑term relationships based on trust and delivery
- Representing the company professionally on site and in meetings
- Health, Safety & Compliance
- Working within a robust H&S management system
- Ensuring all projects comply with health, safety and welfare requirements
- Promoting best practice across all sites

- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager (or similar role) within fit‑out / interiors
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- Commercially aware with good cost control skills
- Confident communicator who enjoys client-facing responsibilities
