Glencorse Care Home is a purpose built care home in Penicuik, providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care for up to 54 residents. Since opening in November, the home has established an excellent reputation, becoming one of the top rated care homes in the region on Carehome.co.uk.

Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join Glencorse during a period of growth as new units open within the home. As Team Leader, you will play a key role in helping shape the culture, standards and day to day environment within a newly established 9 bedded unit. You will take responsibility for the day to day running of the unit, leading a small, dedicated team and ensuring residents receive safe, high quality and person centred care. Working alongside two Care Assistants on shift, you will coordinate care delivery, oversee medication administration, monitor resident wellbeing and maintain accurate records.
As a visible leader, you will support colleagues, promote high standards and help create a positive and supportive environment for residents, families and staff while working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care is delivered.
What We Are Looking For
- SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is essential
- Medication administration training with competency
- Experience leading or supporting a care team
- Strong communication and leadership skills
