The team at Glenburn Vets is on the lookout for an enthusiastic Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across our well‑established sites in County Antrim, where you’ll enjoy a varied caseload covering both consulting and surgical duties.
We’re looking for a confident and motivated vet, ideally with some previous experience, who thrives in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment and is eager to continue developing their skills across all areas of small animal practice.

Ideally, we are looking for someone full time to cover 40 hours per week, however part time applicants would be considered.
Glenburn Vets is a long‑established, three‑site small animal practice with clinics in Crumlin, Glengormley, and Lisburn, all conveniently located near Belfast International Airport, the stunning North Coast, and a range of local attractions. We’re proud to be a well‑equipped, modern practice, offering facilities such as digital radiography, ultrasound with cardiac and abdominal probes, a dedicated cardiac scanning table, multiparameter monitors, fluid pumps and warmers, electrosurgery, suction, and a full orthopaedic kit (including TPLO, CCWO, and MMP).
Our experienced and supportive team includes 7 Vets, 4 RVNs, 3 SVNs, and 11 support staff. Among our vets are colleagues with over 40 years of experience, a certificate holder in surgery, and a nurse with a certificate in anaesthesia. We take great pride in fostering an environment where everyone can develop and grow, with special interests actively supported up to certificate level.
