Glenbrook North High School is seeking a long-term substitute English teacher to cover a leave of absence from August 2026 through November 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Teach English curriculum as assigned to the temporary classroom(s).
- Maintain classroom management and learning environment during the period of the substitute tenure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
- Eligibility for or hold a Professional Educator License with the proper endorsements.
Compensation:
- Daily rate for internal/external candidates: $392.46
- Daily rate for D225 retirees: $523.28
Benefits:
This position is not eligible for benefits.
