Glenbrook North High School is seeking applicants to serve as the Head Orchesis Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. Orchesis is a dance company where freshman-seniors come together to further their dance experience and creative voice. Dancers participate in their annual show formed primarily of student choreographed dances and work with professional guest choreographers. Auditions are held in the spring for the following school year.
Candidates should embody a strong background in classical and modern dance as a performer and director and have experience in small and large group choreography. We are looking for a candidate who can build skills, inspire dancers and has experience in producing large dance shows.
The 1.0 FTE stipend for this position will be established based on the Activity Sponsors salary schedule (Category 7), which is attached to this job posting. This position is not eligible for benefits.
