You will gain hands-on experience developing and improving automated production systems, focusing on electrical design but also working on mechanical design, building and optimizing machinery, ensuring safety, and supporting process improvements. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced engineers while completing your apprenticeship training one day per week at the AMRC in Sheffield. We are looking for someone passionate about engineering, practical, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Job Requirements:
- At least two A Level C+ grades in a relevant Maths/Scientific/Technology subject.
- Two AS level C+ grades are considered equivalent to one A Level.
- A BTEC/EdExcel/SCOTVEC National Certificate or Diploma in a science or technology-based subject.
Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Delivered by Day Release at AMRC Sheffield.
