2x Production Engineering Apprentice

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Production Engineering team as an apprentice. You will gain knowledge and experience of production engineering including:

• Designing and commissioning production tooling, jigs and fixtures
• Learning and being proficient in Solidworks
• Learning about materials including Epoxies and Polymers
• Reading and producing detailed drawings
• Using and interpreting engineering data and documentation such as engineering drawings, technical data and computer-generated programmes.

The apprenticeship programme will provide an individual with full training both internally and externally over approximately 36 months + EPA depending on the candidate’s current knowledge skills and qualifications.

The candidate must be willing to travel and attend university on a day release to gain essential knowledge and experience to complete the full apprenticeship programme eventually leading to attaining a Level 4 Engineering Manufacturing Technician Higher Apprenticeship including a HNC in Engineering.

Candidates should be self-motivated and have or expect to achieve at least two A Level C+ grades in a relevant Maths/Scientific/Technology subject. Two AS level C+ grades are considered equivalent to one A Level. A BTEC/EdExcel/SCOTVEC National Certificate or Diploma in a science or technology-based subject.

Working hours:

Monday – Friday – 40 hours per week
