Overview
This newly shaped role is a hands-on Controller position, designed for someone who still loves managing customers directly and is ready to build, not inherit, a channel strategy.
Reporting to the UK Commercial Director, you\βll own and grow National Managed On-Trade & Pub Groups, taking existing listings and turning them into long-term, profitable partnerships. You\βll work closely with the new Route-to-Market & Field Sales Controller, and directly line-manage one Commercial Manager. This is a senior role in a growing business with clear scope to evolve into something bigger as the channel scales.
The Opportunity
Key Focus Areas
- Lead National Managed On-Trade & Pub Groups (e.g. Fuller\βs, Youngβs, Stonegate)
- Expand distribution and depth of relationship with existing customers
- Open new national accounts
- Build Glen Turner and wider portfolio presence through distribution, activation and visibility
- Own channel P&L alongside RTM leadership
- Play a central role in shaping how LMB UK shows up in On-Trade
Who We\βre Looking For
We\βre deliberately targeting someone with entrepreneurial energy and strong buying-side credibility.
- Drinks industry background essential
- Experience working with third-party distributors or smaller / challenger brand owners would be beneficial
- Strong existing relationships in National Managed On-Trade & Pub Groups
- Comfortable in a lean, fast-moving environment
- Commercial, pragmatic, sleeves-rolled-up mindset
Location
National Based β with travel to Scotland HQ required 2 x week
