Glen Turner sits within the portfolio of LMB Group, a family-owned international spirits business with a growing UK footprint. Following the successful expansion of Warner's Gin distribution into a number of new On-Trade accounts, we're now investing further in our National On-Trade capability.
This newly shaped role is a hands-on Controller position, designed for someone who still loves managing customers directly and is ready to build, not inherit, a channel strategy.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the UK Commercial Director, you'll own and grow National Managed On-Trade & Pub Groups, taking existing listings and turning them into long-term, profitable partnerships. This is a senior role in a growing business with clear scope to evolve into something bigger as the channel scales.
Key Focus Areas
- Lead National Managed On-Trade & Pub Groups (e.g. Fuller's, Young's, Stonegate)
- Expand distribution and depth of relationship with existing customers
- Open new national accounts (e.g. Mitchells & Butlers, JD Wetherspoon)
- Build Glen Turner and wider portfolio presence through distribution, activation and visibility
- Own channel P&L alongside RTM leadership
- Play a central role in shaping how LMB UK shows up in On-Trade
Who We're Looking For
We're deliberately targeting someone with entrepreneurial energy and strong buying-side credibility:
- Drinks industry background essential
- Experience working with third-party distributors or smaller / challenger brand owners would be beneficial.
- Strong existing relationships in National Managed On-Trade & Pub Groups
- Comfortable in a lean, fast-moving environment
- Commercial, pragmatic, sleeves-rolled-up mindset
