MUST HAVE A PREVIOUS CAREER PATH OF AT LEAST 3 – 6 YEARS OF SPECIFIC RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS WORK EXPERIENCE IN CORPORATE FINANCE, PRIVATE EQUITY OR LAW
Permanent vacancies (2) to work for expanding national corporate finance organisation and provide high quality research and analysis support.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Produce and deliver high quality research and analysis across the corporate finance and debt advisory service lines.
- Support the transaction teams with research varying from quick requests to detailed, value-added projects.
- Produce well-researched acquisition target or buyer lists/reports.
- Undertake valuation exercises, including comparable transactions and listed company analysis.
- Research new sectors to identify prospective clients.
- Assist in the production of prospective client pitch documents.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree with strong preference to Business & Finance or Information Management related courses.
- Experience of researching companies, markets and sectors.
- Good working knowledge of research tools and databases such as S&P Capital IQ and Mergermarket.
- Experience of working on multiple research projects simultaneously with a range of timescales, often across varying sectors.
- Strategic thinker who goes beyond what information is available through subscribed sources to find the information they need.
