This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Room Leader to join a wonderful team. We are open all year round and do not offer term time positions. We are open between 7.30 and 6pm.

We have vacancies for full time 7.30am-6pm x4 or 5x 8 hour shifts. We are very flexible and will try to accommodate the hours you need to fit you and your work life balance.

Job Specification
  • To lead a team of staff and be able to delegate.
  • To liaise with outside agencies and parents.
  • To promote a happy, safe environment for all children and staff.
  • To provide a stimulating and varied programme of play and learning opportunities in line with the EYFS framework to meet the needs of the children within their age group.
  • To help manage the team effectively, to agree and set team goals and monitor the achievement of progress against targets.
  • Good knowledge and experience of the EYFS.
The ideal candidate should have:
  • Good communication skills with children, their families and colleagues.
  • Experience of being a Room Leader.
  • Excellent understanding of planning and assessment to improve children's outcomes.
  • A commitment to the care and well-being of all children at the nursery.
  • A positive, happy attitude and a willingness to maintain continuous professional development through a variety of training.
  • Hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in childcare and education.
