Glen Group are actively recruiting for a Permanent, Full-Time Mobile Cleaning Supervisor to join a well-established and growing cleaning business in the xter, Torbay, Newton-Abbot and Tiverton area's to support our on-site teams to deliver a high standard of cleaning across multiple Schools & Toilet buildings ensuring all locations are safe, hygienic and welcoming staff, students & visitors.
The role involves travel between sites and requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. To follow a schedule provided by your Service Delivery Manager, providing cleaning cover for absences across a variety of sites within our Staffordshire portfolio.
You must be available to work Monday to Friday, working 37.5 hours per week, we require you to be flexible with your working hours, as these could be any time between 07:00-21:00 & can vary each day.
The Rate of Pay for this position is £14 per hour.
This is a hands-on cleaning position, so cleaning experience is preferred however not essential, full training will be provided.
We are looking for someone with knowledge of cleaning and to be part of the Glen family, you will need to demonstrate diplomacy with fellow staff, customers, and your surroundings.
You must be trustworthy, well-organized flexible, and reliable with a keen eye for attention to detail.
You must undergo an Enhanced DBS Check.
You must also be 21 or over, hold a full UK Driving License, have general computer skills & cleaning experience.
Preferably you be based within the Exeter, Torbay, Newton-Abbot or Tiverton area, however, this is not essential.
You will be provided with a Company Vehicle, Fuel Card, Company Mobile Phone & Company iPad.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to Customer/ Site Team
- Follow all COSHH, H/S and colour coding.
- Use of Timegate for Actual pay
- Daily rectification of faults
- Cleaning a mix of areas thoroughly
- Support the Service Delivery Manager in ensuring the contracted hours for sites are provided.
- Assist in standdown cleans, deep cleans, emergency cleans, or cover duties when needed.
- Carry out all required cleaning duties such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, surface disinfection, washroom cleaning, emptying bins, and replenishing supplies.
- Complete Cleaning Audits on an iPad
- Answer emails in a professional manner
- Periodic work including Carpet Cleaning, Floor Scrubbing & Low-Level Window Cleaning
