Shift Pattern
Week 1: Monday-Thursday 05:45-13:45 | Friday 05:45-12:45
Week 2: Monday-Thursday 14:00-22:00 | Friday 13:00-20:00
The Role
As Manufacturing Team Leader / Production Supervisor / Production Team Leader, you will lead and supervise a team of welders, operators and programmers, coordinating daily production activities and ensuring departmental KPIs are achieved.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and motivate the production team, managing daily targets, KPIs, quality and productivity.
- Ensure effective shift handovers.
- Maintain high standards of quality, health & safety and production efficiency.
- Deliver toolbox talks, daily checks, training and team development.
- Identify production issues, equipment problems and process inefficiencies.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure production scanning, IT systems and records are accurately maintained.
- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient production environment.
About You
You will have previous experience as a Manufacturing Team Leader, Production Supervisor, Production Team Leader, Manufacturing Supervisor, Shift Supervisor or Workshop Supervisor within a manufacturing, engineering or heavy industrial environment.
You should have:
- Proven experience leading or supervising a manufacturing/production team.
- Strong technical and hands-on production knowledge.
- Experience in machining, welding, fabrication or engineering manufacturing would be advantageous.
- Good understanding of quality control, production processes and health & safety.
- Experience using manufacturing IT systems, scanning systems or production software.
- Strong leadership, communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work to production deadlines and drive productivity, efficiency and continuous improvement.
