With significant investment into our new UK HQ and continued international growth, we are now seeking a highly skilled Electrical / Electronics Field Service Engineer to support installation, commissioning, and advanced fault diagnostics on complex, high-value CNC and automated production systems. This role offers genuine long-term progression into senior technical, specialist, or international positions within our global organisation.
The Role
- Work on cutting-edge precision machinery and full turnkey production lines, supporting customers across the Midlands and surrounding regions.
- Advanced electrical fault-finding on complex CNC machinery.
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematic drawings.
- Commissioning and testing high-value precision systems.
- PLC diagnostics and control functionality troubleshooting.
- Integration of turnkey production lines.
- Ensuring compliance with UKCA / CE standards.
- Supporting networking and IT-related system diagnostics.
This is not routine maintenance - this is high-level technical problem solving within a premium OEM environment.
What We're Looking For
Essential:- Strong electrical fault-finding expertise.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Experience in commissioning / installation.
- Understanding of PLC controls and machine functionality.
- Good IT / networking diagnostic skills.
- Mechanical awareness and understanding of precision engineering systems.
- PLC experience: Beckhoff, Siemens, Allen Bradley, Fanuc, ABB.
- Electrical circuit design (CAD).
- Experience installing full turnkey production lines.
- Knowledge of UKCA / CE compliance.
