We are working with a globally recognised manufacturer to hire, build and grow their UK Aftermarket Sales Development and Field Based Sales Support team across the UK. Key will be optimising brand and product visibility whilst enthusiastically delivering sales support via trade workouts to the Independent Automotive Aftermarket, including Motor Factors, ITG Buying Group members, Automotive Workshops and general Automotive Aftermarket distributors and retailers.

Good Salary: Circa £40k basic + Bonus + Car / Allowance + Pension + Training & PPD

Our utopia: Our ideal candidate will have worked within the Automotive Aftermarket in a Sales Representative, Trade Parts Sales or field based Business Development capacity and be familiar with parts distribution and parts supply chains from supplier through to garage, workshops and repairer networks. We would also be exceptionally keen to hear from internally based parts sales people that have a strong desire to develop a field based sales career.

8 Key Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience of working within the Automotive Aftermarket in a field based or highly sales driven environment.
  • Excellent communicator at all levels from board room to workshop and garage repairer.
  • Good level of PC literacy, particularly with Microsoft packages including Excel and Power Point.
  • Excellent people handling skills with the ability to chat and deliver product training to mechanics, parts people and distributor sales staff at all levels.
  • Highly organised with solid work ethic approaching tasks tenaciously.
  • Flexible to travel covering an expansive region / territory and overnight as required.
  • Smart in appearance, punctual able to create excellent 1st impressions.
  • Ambitious and keen to work with a global player within the Automotive Aftermarket.
