Glen Affric Brewery is expanding, and part of this growth requires bringing on new expertise to help ensure a smooth transition through the increasing capacity of our production facility. We are looking for a Senior Brewer and Brewer to join our ever-growing team.
Your day-to-day duties will include but are not limited to:
- Brewing high quality beer to specifications
- Taking samples for analysis
- Preparing ingredients for the brew
- Stock-take
- Bringing the malts to the brewhouse
- Digging out the mash-tun
- Tidying up of the brewhouse before, during and after production
You will be heavily involved in the brewing, cellaring & packaging processes. Salary is dependent on experience. Brewery operations are typically Monday-Friday but can transition to all days of the week on rare occasions when required.
Requirements:
- Legal right to work in U.K.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a brewing role
- A good understanding of hygienic process
- A good history of scrupulous data collection and record-keeping
- A deep passion for good beer
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to leadership
