Site Controller

Are you a commercially minded finance leader with a strong track record in operational control and team management? Our client, a well-established and forward-thinking organisation based in Birmingham, is seeking an experienced Site Controller to take ownership of financial operations at a key location.This is a high-impact role where you'll play a critical part in driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and delivering process improvements that align with broader business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesAs Site Controller, you will:Take full financial ownership of the site's performance, ensuring alignment with company-wide goals.Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, delivering accurate and timely financial insights.Monitor and manage site-level cost control, working closely with operational teams to identify efficiency opportunities.Oversee cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure planning at the site level.Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory standards, and corporate policies.Partner with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and financial accountability.Lead, develop, and inspire a team of finance professionals to support the site's strategic and operational needs.Key RequirementsThe successful candidate for this Site Controller role will bring:A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).Strong experience in financial management within a manufacturing, distribution, or multi-site environment.Proven ability to influence operational decision-making through financial insight.Excellent leadership skills and a collaborative working style.A continuous improvement mindset and a track record of process optimisation.Solid understanding of compliance, risk management, and financial controls.What's on Offer?Salary up to £90,000Car allowance and performance-related bonusComprehensive benefits packageA senior leadership role with the opportunity to make a measurable impact at a key site
