We're looking for a commercially minded Management Accountant to join a finance team based in Northampton, supporting UK operations in a hybrid role that blends core management accounting with hands-on finance business partnering. This is a key role with full ownership of the UK P&L, working closely with operational and commercial stakeholders to drive performance, improve decision-making and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Full ownership of the UK P&L, including month-end close, variance analysis and reporting
- Production of accurate and timely management accounts
- Budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning for UK operations
- Partnering with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insight and challenge
- Supporting cost control, profitability analysis and performance improvement initiatives
- Providing clear financial analysis to support business decisions
- Improving processes, controls and reporting where appropriate
About You
- Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) or qualified by experience
- Strong background in management accounting
- Experience in a finance business partnering or commercially focused role
- Confident working with senior stakeholders and non-finance teams
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate numbers into insight
- Comfortable owning a P&L and working in a fast-paced environment
