Gleeson Recruitment is working with a fantastic business in Derby that is looking for a Management Accountant to join an exciting new team.
This is a great opportunity for someone confident with the fundamentals of management accounting and looking to make their mark through process improvement, balance sheet ownership, and hands-on team management.
This role offers a salary of up to £55,000, with a flexible work pattern of 3 days on site and 2 days at home.
The role includes:
- Working closely with the Senior Finance Manager, Group Accountant, and Financial Controller
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Balance sheet reviews and reconciliations
- Supporting process improvements and system enhancements
- Managing and developing a team of two
- Collaborating with the Head of Finance to establish and embed a new team structure
The ideal candidate:
- CIMA or ACCA qualified
- Experience producing management accounts
- Comfortable stepping into a leadership role
- A mindset for efficiency and continuous improvement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
