Gleeson are delighted to be exclusively supporting a large, complex UK business to find an Interim FP&A Analyst to support a critical budgeting and reporting project within their Group function. This is a hands-on, data-heavy role where you'll play a key part in bringing structure, accuracy, and clarity to large and complex financial datasets.
You must be a self-driven, inquisitive individual who can clearly discuss the areas of improvement and problem solving you have personally been responsible for at interview.
The Role- Reconcile large and complex datasets across multiple systems and teams
- Analyse high-volume transactional data and be able to 'tell the story' behind the numbers
- Proactively investigate discrepancies and identify root causes
- Support the build of a clean, reliable dataset for budget and reporting purposes
- Assist in delivering accurate reporting outputs and budget packs
- Work closely with stakeholders to resolve data issues and ensure consistency
- Experience using TM1/Cognos is essential and must be clear on your CV
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables essential)
- Experience working with large, complex data sets
- Strong reconciliation and analytical capability
- Comfortable in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Detail-focused, proactive, and solutions-oriented

- Candidates must have full right to work in the UK without the need for any sponsorship.
- Candidates must be based within a reasonable commuting distance of Leicester to accommodate 3 days onsite - this is non-negotiable. Some additional travel around the UK is required.
