Interim Senior Finance Business Partner

About the Role

My client, a listed £5bn global organisation is seeking a highly skilled Interim Senior Finance Business Partner to support one of their business units. Acting as a key Business Partner , you will take full ownership of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting while providing strategic guidance to senior leadership. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong analytical skills, a proactive approach, and experience in construction or related industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the BU P&L , ensuring accurate financial reporting and forecasting
• Provide strategic financial advice to senior leadership, including Managing Director & Finance Director
• Lead the budgeting, planning, and variance analysis process, ensuring financial integrity
• Support project commercial teams in risk assessment and opportunity analysis
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and limits of authority
• Prepare financial reports, investment papers, and audit documentation
• Assist with bids and framework requirements, ensuring financial viability
• Oversee supply chain review, assessing financial security of new clients and suppliers

Key Requirements

• Qualified accountant with demonstrable track record in business partnering at C-suite level
• Immediately available to start within the next 2 weeks
• Strong stakeholder management experience with finance and non-finance individuals
• Experience in either construction or related project management industries

This role will be based in London one day a week with travel to other sites in the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional looking for a dynamic interim contract in a high-impact role.

This role is offered on a hybrid basis with 1-2 days per week working from home. Finally, we are recruiting this role on a PAYE basis.
