Gleeson Recruitment Group are working on a retained basis with one of the Midlands' premium multi-site B2C businesses, who are looking to appoint a new Group Financial Reporting Manager to join their ever-growing Finance function.
As the Group Financial Reporting Manager, you will be a key member of the finance leadership team, responsible for overseeing group financial reporting and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. You will lead the preparation and consolidation of financial statements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide strategic insights to drive decision-making at the group level.
The salary on offer is between £75,000 and £85,000, plus a £6,000 car allowance and bonus up to 10%. You'll also benefit from 2 or 3 days a week working from home.
Key responsibilities:
- Group Reporting: Manage the preparation, review, and submission of timely and accurate consolidated group financial reports.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards (e., IFRS16) and statutory reporting requirements across the group.
- Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to streamline reporting processes, enhance systems, and improve efficiency.
- Leadership: Manage and develop a team of reporting professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the key liaison with auditors, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders to address reporting queries and requirements.

- Qualifications: ACA or ACCA
