Finance Manager

Our client, a well-established construction business based in Solihull, is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional with strong management accounting expertise and a background in construction to take on a key role within a growing organisation.

The Role

As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the business, ensuring robust financial control, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making. Key responsibilities include:Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reportsBudgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisOverseeing cash flow management and financial controlsSupporting project cost analysis and reportingEnsuring compliance with industry regulations and accounting standardsManaging and mentoring a small finance team

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Qualified or Qualified Accountant status (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant
• A background in construction, civil engineering, or a related sector
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to partner with operational teams
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
