Finance Manager

Our client, a leading organisation based in Birmingham, is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team. This is a key role where you will take ownership of month-end processes, budgeting, and forecasting while implementing process improvements to enhance the overall finance function.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties for this Finance Manager role are:

• Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Develop and manage budgeting and forecasting models to support strategic decision-making.

• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial reporting and operational efficiency.

• Provide insightful financial analysis, highlighting key trends and variances.

• Support senior management with financial planning and strategic initiatives.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen financial controls and governance.

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate for this Finance Manager will possess the following:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).

• Strong background in management accounts, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Proven track record of implementing process improvements within finance functions.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Degree in accountancy, business or economics.
