Are you a VAT Manager or Assistant Manager looking for more advisory work, greater flexibility, and a genuinely supportive team culture? We're hiring on behalf of a leading professional services firm with a strong reputation. This is a hybrid role within an established, collaborative VAT team offering broad exposure to complex advisory work across clients - with minimal compliance and no timesheets.

What you'll be doing:
- Delivering tailored VAT advice to FS clients (and occasionally other sectors)
- Managing a portfolio and building strong client relationships
- Supporting or leading advisory projects - reviews, DDs, partial exemption
- Liaising with HMRC on technical matters
- Helping with BD: attending events, preparing marketing material, and leading on pitches
What we're looking for:
- VAT advisory experience
- Strong communicator - clear, client-friendly advice
- Confident managing your own time and client work
- Experience in a professional services firm is ideal
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. CTA, ACA, ACCA) are a plus but not a necessity
