The Role
Gleeson Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a FMCG brand within the beauty space to recruit for a Social Media & Digital Content Executive. You will join a dynamic marketing team within a thriving consumer brand business. Working closely with the Social Lead, this role involves the planning, creation, and execution of digital content across social, email, and web platforms. The successful candidate will play a vital role in raising brand visibility and driving engagement through both organic and paid campaigns.
Key Requirements
- Deliver engaging social media content aligned with brand voice and tone across platforms including Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest.
- Support influencer and ambassador programmes, including outreach, briefing, and contract coordination.
- Maintain and optimise website and marketplace listings, ensuring accurate and appealing product content.
- Assist in crafting on-brand marketing visuals and assets for digital campaigns.
- Create compelling, keyword-optimised copy for online platforms with SEO best practices in mind.
- Contribute to content planning, ideation, and scheduling in line with marketing strategies.
- Produce and schedule email marketing content, including automation flows to improve customer retention.
- Monitor and report on the performance of social media, email, and e-commerce platforms.
- Collaborate with internal brand stakeholders to align digital output with overall marketing objectives.
- Support day-to-day digital tasks including community management, competitor research, and event attendance.
Candidate Criteria
- Demonstrable experience managing social media content and campaigns across Meta, Pinterest, and TikTok.
- Strong creative eye and awareness of current trends in design, culture, and social media.
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills tailored for digital audiences.
- Confident in using social media and email marketing tools (e.g., scheduling platforms, analytics dashboards).
- Working knowledge of SEO principles and ability to optimise digital content effectively.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Proactive and self-motivated, able to manage workload independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify is advantageous but not essential.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, is a plus.
- Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and willing to develop new skills through training and hands-on experience.
