Following continued expansion, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager to take client-side responsibility for a portfolio of refresh and refurbishment projects, typically ranging from £1m-£10m, across industrial and logistics assets.

The Role:

Reporting to the Projects Director, you will lead projects end-to-end, working closely with Asset Management and Facilities Management teams and taking full ownership of the project lifecycle - from inception and governance through to delivery and handover. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role requiring strong commercial discipline, stakeholder management and technical credibility in a multi-site environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take client-side accountability for refresh and refurbishment projects once works exceed FM-led thresholds
  • Lead projects from initiation to close, including scope, programme, budget, governance and risk management
  • Appoint and manage external consultants and contractors, driving performance across cost, time, quality and H&S
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, approvals, change control and invoice processes
  • Lead procurement and tendering activities, ensuring best value and robust commercial outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with Facilities Management to ensure clear scope definition and seamless transitions
  • Discharge Client duties under CDM 2015, ensuring full compliance and proportionate controls
  • Oversee structured handovers to Asset & FM teams, with complete operational and compliance documentation
  • Provide clear, high-quality reporting into senior stakeholders and governance forums

About You:

  • Proven experience delivering client-side refresh and refurbishment projects (£1m-£10m)
  • Experience managing multiple projects across different sites
  • Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 and statutory compliance
  • Confident managing consultant and contractor supply chains
  • Commercially astute, with excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth environment
  • IT-literate with strong reporting and presentation skills
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel nationally

Desirable:

  • Professional qualification (RICS, CIOB, APM, PRINCE2 or similar)
  • Familiarity with standard construction contracts and client-side contract administration
