Job Title: Security & Surveillance Coordinator
Salary: £35,000 + Bonus (20-30%)
Work Type: On site
Locations: Birmingham
The Duties:
- Lead development and enforcement of site Security and Safety Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
- Oversee CCTV, alarms, and access control systems across high-risk areas.
- Coordinate secure transport, storage, and handling of precious metals in line with insurance and compliance standards.
- Manage incident response, conduct risk assessments, and liaise with police, insurers, and external agencies.
- Implement anti-theft measures and maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and security breaches.
- Lead H&S drills, inductions, and ensure all safety standards are upheld.
- Deliver staff training and chair regular meetings with senior management on security matters.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced in managing CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
- Strong background in incident handling, risk management, and health & safety.
- SIA licence or looking to obtain.
- Highly detail-oriented, discreet, and calm under pressure.
- Effective communicator with experience in high-value or high-risk environments such as secure logistics or luxury retail.
- Confident leading from the front and fostering a culture of safety and vigilance onsite.
