Gleesons has been partnered with a Global Freight Forward looking for a Freight Account Manager for their Road Division. The Client is looking for a professional looking to grow within a customer-driven business. You will manage your accounts and further develop relationships with the business and forwarder.
Package: Company Car + Commission
Duties:
- Build and manage a portfolio of customers within your assigned territory, focusing on long-term growth and retention.
- Proactively identify new sales opportunities through the company's internal CRM system and other market intelligence sources.
- Conduct outbound telesales activity to profile and qualify potential clients, leveraging product suite for the Freight Forwarding business.
- Schedule and attend face-to-face meetings with prospective clients, presenting tailored proposals and quotations.
- Take full ownership of accounts in your portfolio, working to grow volume and position the business as the preferred or sole supplier.
- Maintain proactive, regular contact with your customers to ensure satisfaction, resolve issues, and explore further business opportunities.
- Securing new business and expanding relationships with existing clients, transitioning them to the internal customer service team once onboarded.
