Are you a CIPD qualified HR professional with experience in line management looking for a part time role in the East Midlands? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing organisation in Derby, initially on a 12 month FTC, with part time, flexible and hybrid working.
Reporting into the HR manager, duties will include:
- Managing a small team of HR professionals, focusing on development and coaching
- Coaching managers through employee relations cases from absence management to more complex disciplinaries and grievances
- Identifying and working with management on performance of employees, putting interventions in place where needed
- Working with your HR manager and senior leadership team on talent management and succession planning
- Developing and delivering training to employees
- Driving employee engagement initiatives
- End to end recruitment support
Please note this is a part time position working 30 hours per week with flexible working hours across 4 or 5 days a week and the option to work from home 1 day a week if suitable.
For this role, we are looking for HR professionals with a passion for people management and development who enjoy the fast-paced nature of working in manufacturing or similar environments. You will be able to develop and sustain excellent working relationships with your management team and be able to support through a range of employee relations matters and be confident in developing and delivering training. You will be able to work with senior leadership teams on projects relating to talent management & succession planning, performance management, recruitment and engagement.
