A leading client of ours is seeking a forward thinking and commercially minded FP&A Analyst to join its finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on partnering with senior stakeholders, shaping financial insight, and driving performance across a dynamic business division.
The Role:
As the FP&A Analyst, you will work closely with the Financial Controller and wider leadership team to deliver high quality financial planning, insightful analysis, and reliable forecasting. You'll play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making and ensuring financial clarity across a fast paced and growing division. This position is ideal for someone who is proactive, analytical, and confident in leading financial processes end-to-end. You will also support continuous improvement initiatives, helping to build more efficient, standardised, and automated reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full annual budgeting process and all in year forecasting cycles.
- Provide ongoing performance reporting, including clear variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
- Deliver meaningful insight that highlights risks, opportunities, and improvement actions.
- Support the Financial Controller with all reporting and analytical requirements.
- Produce and oversee weekly P&Ls and other recurring performance reports.
- Partner with non finance stakeholders to improve forecasting accuracy and financial understanding.
- Contribute to the standardisation and continuous improvement of reporting processes.
Skills & Requirements:
- Strong Excel skills, with the ability to work efficiently with large data sets.
- Experience in an FP&A or similar analytical finance role.
- Ideally Part-qualified in (ACCA/CIMA).
- Comfortable engaging with non finance teams and explaining financial concepts clearly.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
- Experience with financial systems is advantageous.
