Salary: Competitive / Dependent on experience
Job Type: Permanent
I'm working with a highly respected family law specialist firm in Staffordshire that has built a strong reputation for handling complex and sensitive cases with professionalism and compassion. The firm is known for its supportive and collaborative culture, offering solicitors the opportunity to work on a wide range of challenging care and family law matters while developing their skills. They take pride in providing clients with clear, expert guidance at every stage and are now looking to grow their team with a Care Solicitor.
The Role: The successful candidate will join the Children Law department and primarily handle public law matters, with the potential to work on some private law cases for those who prefer a mixed caseload. Children Panel membership is not essential, but would be advantageous.
The firm is flexible on experience - they are looking for someone who is the right fit for the team, rather than a specific level of PQE. This role offers the chance to work in a collaborative and highly regarded team, contributing to cases that make a real difference for children and families.
Key Responsibilities:- Advising and representing clients in public law care proceedings.
- Drafting court documents, statements, and legal submissions.
- Attending court hearings and client meetings, offering empathetic guidance.
- Collaborating with colleagues, social services, and other professionals.
- Contributing to a positive team culture and supporting junior colleagues.
- Work in a supportive, family law specialist environment.
- Exposure to challenging and high-profile care cases.
- Opportunities for professional development and career growth.
- Flexible approach to experience and caseload preferences.
How to Apply: If you are a solicitor with a passion for children law and would like to be part of a respected, specialist firm, please get in touch with your CV. I'd be happy to provide more details about the role and the team.
