Job Description
Legal E-Biller?? Full-time | UK
A well-established professional services firm is looking to strengthen their finance function with the addition of a Legal E-Biller. This is a permanent, full time position based on site, joining a close knit team focused on managing the electronic billing process for a high value client base.
The role sits within the wider Revenue Control team and would suit someone who enjoys working with billing systems, managing deadlines, and ensuring data accuracy across multiple platforms. You'll be the point of contact for ensuring bills are uploaded, tracked, and followed up efficiently, while working closely with fee earners to meet client-specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uploading client invoices to a variety of e-Billing systems
- Keeping on top of time sensitive billing cycles and client rules
- Investigating billing issues such as rejections or discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate records of processed and pending invoices
- Inputting updates into client portals (e.g. budgets, accruals, and reporting)
- Ensuring internal systems (e.g. Aderant) and client platforms remain aligned
- Coordinating with fee earners and credit control to keep billing on track
- Raising any issues that can't be resolved directly with the Team Leader
- Pitching in with general support across the billing team when needed
What you'll need to bring:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an e-Billing role (legal or professional services environment preferred)
- Previous exposure to high-volume and/or multi-currency billing
- Familiarity with practice management systems (Aderant would be a bonus)
- Solid Excel skills and a confident grasp of billing compliance
- Ability to manage deadlines and multitask in a structured environment
- Sharp attention to detail and clear communication skills
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 GCSEs, including grade C or above in Maths and English Language
- A Level education preferred
