Lease Accountant / Financial Accountant (ACCA/CIMA studier, Finalist or Qualified by Experience) To be based at their Uxbridge or Central London Office – 3 days per week in the office, 2 days working from home £45,000 – £50,000 + 10% bonus + 25 days holiday + study support + pension Are you a detail-oriented finance professional ready to take ownership of the lease accounting for this well known and much loved brand? We're looking for a Financial Accountant to join the team at their prestigious offices in Uxbridge – or central London Offices. This role is your chance to combine technical expertise with the opportunity to develop this role and ultimately progress internally. As the successful Financial Accountant, ideally you will be able to offer recent experience of performing a role with the 'business as usual' duties, as well as adding value and expertise in making processes more efficient and bringing new ways of working to the role too. What You'll Be Doing Lease Accounting: Own the accounting for a number of property leases, preparing reconciliations, period-end journals, and turnover certificates. Collaboration: Work closely with the Property team and Group Finance, providing insights and resolving queries. Process Improvement: This is plenty of scope to develop and improve processes and streamline the use of internal systems. Financial Accounting: Accruals, prepayments, journals, period end reporting; cash-flow forecasting, balance sheet reconciliations; Payment runs, preparing budgets, leased asset accounting; assisting the auditors with the year-end audits; assisting the Finance Manager and Reporting team with technical accounting supportWhat We're Looking For A part qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA – or qualified by experience or stop-studier Ideally some sort of experience with lease accounting (IFRS 16/IAS 17) or the desire to become a subject matter expert in this area. A self-starter with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and advanced Excel skills.Why Apply?
