The Learning and Development Trainer plays a key role in supporting the businesses strategic objectives through the design, delivery and evaluation of high-quality learning and development interventions. Working as part of the Organisational Development Team, the postholder will contribute to building organisational capability, enhancing employee performance and supporting cultural and organisational change. The role combines expert facilitation with learning design, stakeholder engagement and consultancy.

The postholder will work collaboratively with colleagues to identify development needs, design impactful learning solutions and deliver engaging programmes that support individual, team and organisational effectiveness. The postholder will be expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, applying professional expertise to influence stakeholders, continuously improve learning provision and contribute to the development of a positive, inclusive and high-performing organisational culture.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and deliver a portfolio of learning and development programmes, workshops and interventions that support organisational priorities and workforce capability.
  • Facilitate engaging face-to-face and virtual training sessions.
