Are you an experienced Internal Auditor looking to take the next step in your career within a forward-thinking, supportive organisation? We're currently partnering with a well-established business based in Solihull that is seeking a talented Internal Auditor to join their growing audit and risk team.
The RoleAs an Internal Auditor, you'll play a key role in providing independent assurance on the effectiveness of internal controls, governance processes, and risk management across the organisation. This is a high-profile role offering great exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence business performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver internal audit assignments across a broad range of business areas.
Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management.
Support the development of the annual audit plan.
Collaborate with departments to ensure audit actions are implemented effectively.
Assist in developing best practices to enhance audit efficiency and coverage.
Qualified or part-qualified (e.g. ACA, ACCA, IIA, or equivalent).
Previous experience in internal audit, either in practice or in-house.
Strong understanding of risk management, governance, and control frameworks.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Able to work independently and manage multiple assignments effectively.
- Degree in accountancy, economics or business.
Competitive salary of up to £60,000 package (depending on experience).
