Interim Financial Controller
North West

We are seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to support a dynamic and fast-paced B2B business through a period of significant transition. Reporting to the Group CFO, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance and ensuring robust financial controls within the division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a small team of management and financial accounting professionals.
- Challenge and improve financial controls, with a focus on IFRS 16 compliance.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to challenge the business, ensuring financial discipline and alignment with the group strategy.
- Provide hands-on support in a fast-paced environment, driving performance and accountability.
- Ensure the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting, supporting decision-making at the highest level.
- Work flexibly across multiple sites in the North-West.
What We are Looking For:
- A qualified accounting professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- A delivery-focused finance leader with a strong track record in interim roles.
- Proven experience in challenging and improving financial controls within a complex organisation.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly IFRS 16.
- The ability to work at pace, engaging with and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Experience managing and developing finance teams through periods of change.
- Willingness to travel between sites in the North West as required.
